Week #20

Wow your trip sounds incredible. I love the photo you sent me.
It seemed like quite the adventure you two went on.
It must have been so nice to see all the sights and also relax on the cruise.
That is so amazing that you were able to eat with an Egyptian family.
How did you work that out?

Mom that is so cool that you made that link between the Egyptian temples and beliefs to ours.
It is very true that they would go to great lengths to preserve their earthly possessions to bring with them into their after life.
We know that these things do not come with us but that our relationships and experiences are the treasures we bring with us.

Hahaha you must have been super glad you were not the one driving.
It was a little bit different when I first drove in France but it would be nothing compared to driving in Egypt.

Mom, our mission president gave us direction during the events this week in Toulouse but everything is fine and we are all safe.
There was a great gathering of people who left roses for those who were affected by this event.

This week was transfer week. I am, as of today, serving in Saint Etienne France in a group of three Elders. My new companions are Elder Overstreet and Elder Russo. They are super awesome and we have only been together so far for 3 hours. Right from the get go we were cracking jokes and I am excited for this transfer.

It was wonderful serving in Toulouse and the members are so loving. It was nice to get pictures with our amis and the members as well. Elder Snickers has a huge heart and he would always make me laugh. Elder Frandsen finishes his mission today and Elder Grossen is staying in Toulouse. I loved living with those Elders and they are all incredible. I cannot think of a more amazing group of young men. We are all trying to be more like our Savior and we have lots of fun while doing it.

This past week in Toulouse we had a miracle day. Everything seemed to work out wonderfully for us. We taught 5 lessons in one day and met and taught some brand new people. We had 2 families come to church and ate with members and our amis 3 times during the week. It was awesome.

I am so happy everything is going wonderfully for you. I love you all and appreciate everything you do.

Krystal, It is pretty cool that you are thinking of going to BYU. I am also thinking that it is a possibility for me as well but I will worry about that way in the future.

Love you loads
