Week #59

This one will be short because we will be talking for real tomorrow.
(Erik gets to Skye with us twice a year, Christmas and Mother’s Day)

Well I thought I would just attach some photos from our Mission Christmas tour.
Elder Arnold and I had a jolly o’l time sharing our Christmas presentation to the whole mission.
We spoke about Angels and John The Baptist, and of course the Saviour.
We also sang a duet of Hark the Harold angels sing.

Well I love you lots

Excited to speak with you tomorrow

Week #58

Hello to all and Happy Birthday Daddy,

You are the best dad ever. I love you lots.
You are so handsome and cute and cuddly.
I miss you buddy. You dance real good as well

So Elder Arnold and I get along really well and we have a lot of fun.
He is an English man and has a super cool British accent.
He is also charming and smart.
He loves to sing as well so we are planning on doing some duets and stuff.

We are getting things all ready for our Christmas Conference Tour.
We have loads of gifts to be organized and plans to be made for transportation and what not. Lots of lots of things to do.
Elder Arnold and I have made a generic Christmas card for all the Members of our ward. We are going to shower them with love this Sunday. We have been invited over for Christmas eve with a wonderful member family and Christmas day we have been invited over to eat with our investigators family.

We have been super busy like always and have not had a lot of time to prepare gifts to send home which we are sad about. Sorry
I know you are never super materialistic but we still wanted to show you that we think about you lots and love you.

This week we visited a very very very cute member family. They are like a model family seriously. The love and peace we felt in their home was just incredible. I felt just incredible and I kinda wanted to cry because I felt so happy and peaceful with them. We had a great time just talking about missions and spiritual things.

We are planning on singing for Christmas during sacrament meeting. We are pretty excited about that.

Well I love you lots and I hope this Christmas Season is magical for you. I hope that you feel closer to the Saviour during this time and you feel of His love. I hope you will have a greater desire to share that love with others

Love you lots

Week #56

Hey my dear family and Friends,

This week was pretty awesome.

It is crazy how quick a week passes, but when I think about the beginning of the week, it feels like a months worth of experiences.

This week I had many precious experiences while teaching people.
The spirit was so strong and I felt a peace and joy that brought tears to my eyes. Listening to those whom we are teaching, pray and feeling more peace and joy in there life is just incredible.

This week we worked on transfers with President and it went super smoothly. Between meetings with him, we would run off to go teach lessons and visit members.

We had a visit with the Stake President and I had a funny experience.
The whole day we had been working outside in the pouring rain and I was completely soaked. At the end of the day when we arrived in their home, I took off my shoes, and my socks were creating puddles. The Stake President brought me a pair of his socks to wear. He told me to keep them as a memory. I think he just didn’t want me to give his socks back after my stinky feet were in them. Seriously though, it was super kind of him and it made me think of the painting of the Saviour washing his disciples feet.

Elder Gubbay got an incredible fair well at church on Sunday. I have never seen so many members take photos with a missionary. He is a super star.

My new companion, Elder Arnold, is a gem.
I loved walking around, on Sunday, and introducing him to everyone.
He is from England and has a beautiful accent.
He is just so great, He has a wonderful heart.
We are going to have a lot of fun together.

Well I love you lots
